Contract Advantage Client-Server offers capabilities that you would only expect to see in larger, enterprise, web-enabled products:
- The system can track any type of contract - supply, distribution, technology, license, trademark, patent, personnel, leases, maintenance, Asset Purchase and Deployment and more.
- Contract Advantage Client-Server offers contract and administration security. Security is managed by roles and groups, to ensure that only authorized users can see or modify contracts. If a user does not have rights to see a contract, that contract cannot be retrieved or opened.
- Legal-oriented fields are included in the contract summary.
- Email Distribution Groups can be created for each contract.
- Date Signatory fields are enabled for both Our Side and the Contracting Party side of the contract.
- Contract numbers are automatically generated by the system, but unique numbers can also be assigned by the user.
- Each contract record contains several pages of contract information – an extensive Contract Summary, Our Side Divisions, Contracting Party, Key Dates, One-time and Recurring Actions, Obligations and Provisions (clauses), Document Repository (for images and editable documents), Amendments, Trademarks and Patents, Territory, financial, and Litigation.
- The Financial Transactions module can record payments and receipts for financial reporting. The Financial Module also can track details of equipment, computer and real estate leases.
- The action reporting system reminds you of actionable dates including renewal, review, filing, reporting, termination and expiration dates and more. You can even track one time and recurring actions.
- Users can add their own contract types, action types, territories, trademarks and patents—and many more. In fact, all dropdown Master Lists are user editable.
- Contract information is confidential. Security is built in. The passwords and settings may be changed to suit your needs.
- The system includes Advantage Alert®, a system that sends email alerts to contacts responsible for contracts and actions. The Alert System send out both Detailed and Summary alert messages.
