The Contract Search facility exists to enable users to find a contract, or contracts, meeting a specific set of criteria. This may be used to review these contracts, or to run reports against the retrieved contracts.

The Contract Search capability begins with the user's security rights, which create the main filter for authorized contracts to be retrieved. Users can retrieve Active Contracts, Archived Contracts or both at the same time.

The Selection Screen contains a Selection Criteria section that contains a large number of fields that the user can query against. These include basic contract information, parties, dates, locations, contract types, intellectual property, etc.

When running a query, you can specify multiple criteria to narrow your search. For example: "Show me all Distribution Agreement contracts covering Europe and Asia that expire between 01-Oct-2009 and 31-Dec-2009."
