Search
The Contract Search facility exists to enable users to find a contract, or contracts, meeting a specific set of criteria. This may be used to review these contracts, or to run reports against the retrieved set of contracts.
The Contract Search capability begins with the user’s security rights, which create the main filter for retrieving contracts from the repository. Users can retrieve Active Contracts, Archived Contracts or both at the same time.
The Selection Screen contains a Search Parameter section that contains a large number of fields that the user can query against. This includes basic contract information, contract descriptors, parties, dates, locations, contract types, intellectual property, Clause Contents, etc.
When running a query, you can specify multiple criteria to narrow your search. For example: “Show me all Distribution Agreement contracts covering Europe and Asia that expire between 01-Oct-2007 and 31-Dec-2007.”
The search capability is an important productivity feature of Contract Advantage Client-Server.
